 Just by
"browsing" these web pages, excellently edited and displayed by our
webmaster, Ed Hartley in Knoxville, TN, you evidently share some of
our same passions. By "passions", I refer to the love of...PRECISION
AEROBATICS flown like "the good ole days".
Recently three members have agreed to serve as our PATTERN COMMITTEE
with the distinct objective of constructing the patterns for the
coming 2-year cycle, 2007 & 2008. The members are from the states
sporting the largest numbers of active SPA membership.....Mr. Dennis
Hunt of Tennessee has agreed to Chair this important committee which
consists of Messer's Mickey Walker of Georgia and Cass Underwood of
Alabama.
There has been very little discussion to this point of our current
patterns for our 3 classes (same pattern used for EXPERT and SENIOR
EXPERT)...other than a suggested little change here or there in each
class. Our schedules are, for the most part, maneuvers taken from
AMA rulebooks up to and including 1975.
If you have ideas or suggestions for the coming patterns, please
contact one or all of the Pattern Committee members and let them
know.
